At this time of year when we all try to do SO much to ‘get ready’, when we run ourselves down trying to create the ‘perfect’ Christmas Day, when we stop looking after ourselves…don’t forget to simply get out there and get some fresh air.
Amongst all the hustle and bustle, don’t forget to listen to what your body needs. Of course it is ok to take some time off and kick up your feet. Of course it is ok to indulge in a little Christmas egg nog and some sugar cookies. But don’t forget to listen…listen to your inner voice…it will tell you what you need most.
It doesn’t have to be anything big, it can be simple and easy. Just put on those boots and mitts and get out there for a stroll. Breathe in the fresh air, listen to the birds sing, and let your soul relax.
Merry Christmas!! Be good to yourself 🙂

Not yet…I’m holed-up, reading/commenting on posts, and writing my latest post..however, I have a great view of the wonderful outdoors, and am sure to make a point of drinking it in every once in a while….I admire your connection with nature this time of year…it is easy for me to reserve fresh air for fair weather days (it’s really cold out today…that, and I’m lazy given that I am off work until next Tues….a rare and long-awaited break 🙂 ).

A timely post indeed! I just came back from a long walk in the park, it felt so good – the sun was shining, the air was brisk and it was a blast to see so many others doing the same. Thank you for sharing your walk with us!
